thats the title of the post....and this is a very late post...lol...so sorry about it....coz my camera man did not send me the pics...so i couldnt blog....

on 30th july 2006, my ever fabulous frens instructed me to meet them at East Coast Park Gelare @ 2.30pm.
backtrack abit...this yr, we the best frens of each other planned each other's bdae....and since its mine, Kelv and Russ and Nic and Ian planned it....and it turned out to be an Amazing Race cum Survivor....why middle finger then? u will realise later :p
anyway...i was a little late...but no worries...when I arrived, I saw only Nic and Russ...and I knew something was wrong...but before that, they told me to bring the following have-to-bring-stuff::
- bag
- plastic bags
- umbrella
- extra clothes
- $80
- shoes
- slippers
- water bottle
- towel
and some others i forgot. and upon hearing....i guessed they were making me do some treasure hunt thingy...
anyway when i reach they gave me my first clue, to search for a "Seat" and i thought Kelvin Seet...oh boy was I wrong...lOl
my 1st middle finger...coz they make me carry my sling bag and took all my money from me cept for measly $30
it starts!!! and Joseph Saw leads in the race!!!! -.-"
then with the first clue i came to a bike shop...looking around at the seats (chairs, stools...etc) but i dont find a clue...then...i saw Yali in the shop! before i could ask why was she here...she said "you are suppose to look for Ian..." then i knew it....he must be a station master or something...haha...and i found him behind a tree...hiding from my view...and he made me guess and finally i took 2 bikes, one for me and one for Nic...who will be my kaki and camera man of the day...running around with me

and so...i was given only 15mins to complete a sudoku....and of coz i couldnt...and i had to do a forfeit...at the end of the day. with that...Kelv hands me the next clue...that sends me looking for a place with loads of restrictions and a jetty....(no pics for this)..this time...my camera man took half time and he didnt follow me...i was ALL ALONE....wat a lousy camera man.....hrrmph....anyway....i was expecting to see Russ....oh boy...was i in for a surprise
then...i reached bedok jetty....but before i cycled in...i received a call...from Josiah! i was like "ehh...why will Rosie call me?"
he asked "Eh Joseph...are u wearing a billabong tee shirt?" "I said "no...why leh?" "oh nothing...where are u?" "At east coast park...why?" "oh nothing..." "are u at the next station?" "i dont know....haha...bye" -ends convo-
then i knew Josiah was my next station master...so i rode on to the end...but along the jetty...i didnt see him, only a group of ppl looking at someone who has just caught a huge promfet...so i called Rosie again and he said "continue looking lor"
so i rode back to the beginning of the jetty and noticed Josiah! but his back was facing me...and his gf was with him! lol...
so...my next task...its a detour! a choice between 2 routes...IQ or mental!

this station incorporates Survivor...I had to make a sandcastle in 5mins! not only that, everytime 1min is up and my sandcastle is not done or not to their standards, I have to do a duck walk in the sea! and goodness! it was a sunday and there were tons of ppl there!!! embarassing can?!?! anyway...i had no tools and had to pick 2 cups and a plate from a rubbish bin to make do...watch the video...
and im off!!! and while i was slogging (hey its my bdae and im slogging?!?!)

OH NO!!!

the car went over to where the rest were waiting and I saw them and waved happily...they laughed and i didnt know wat for....and Kel said "Ok...this is your next clue...now get out of my car." and I was like...WTF! i was had! and they all laughed loudly so did i...it was truly humorous...lol

hey...it has been 6 yrs...8 yrs for Russ....and we are still going tough...will we last till we get chucked into some old folks' home? i dunno...wat i know is everyone of us will continue to put in the effort to be frens.....
